NH Reps Won’t Meet Public – Why?

The DNC is feeling the heat. They know they are now the minority, as public sentiment is not in their favor. Why else would they need to send around the nonsense you see below?

Once again we assure you that we in NH are NOT funded or directed by the GOP, lobbyists, special interests, or anyone else. We have also never used the symbols they mention below and no one is bussing anyone here, except the paid volunteers from the SEIU/ACORN/OFA

There are no ‘thoughtful discussions’ going on because Shaheen, Hodes, and Porter have refused to meet with the public so far. And the polls do indeed show that we ARE the ‘mainstream’.

The DNC must retract these false statements immediately. Attacks on ordinary Americans, speaking their mind, have already backfired for the Democrats. The Democrat ‘brand’ is quickly losing credibility for making up statements like these.

Polls now show that those who oppose government controlled health care are in the clear majority.

Statement from DNC Communications Director Brad Woodhouse on the Republican Party and Allied Groups’ Mob Rule

The Republicans and their allied groups – desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill – are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.

[There has been no incitement whatsoever from the GOP or any ‘allied’ groups.]

However, much like we saw at the McCain-Palin rallies last year where crowds were baited with cries of ‘socialist,’ ‘communist,’ and where the birthers movement was born – these mobs of extremists are not interested in having a thoughtful discussion about the issues – but like some Republican leaders have said – they are interested in ‘breaking’ the President and destroying his Presidency.

[It just happens so that we do not approve of the radical policies of this Presidency and will do what we can to stop them from being put into law.]

These mobs are bussed in by well funded, highly organized groups run by Republican operatives and funded by the special interests who are desperately trying to stop the agenda for change the President was elected to bring to Washington. Despite the headline grabbing nature of these angry mobs and their disruptions of events, they are not reflective of where the American people are on the issues – or the hundreds of thousands of thoughtful discussions taking place around kitchen tables, water coolers and in homes.

[Once again, no busses, no funding, no special interests, and no highly organized groups — and above all the DNC has absolutely no proof of anything like that either.]

The right wing extremists’ use of things like devil horns on pictures of our elected officials, hanging members of Congress in effigy, breathlessly questioning the President’s citizenship and the use of Nazi SS symbols and the like just shows how outside of the mainstream the Republican Party and their allies are. This type of anger and discord did not serve Republicans well in 2008 – and it is bound to backfire again.

[Sarah Palin was hanged in effigy and authorities did nothing about it. Once again there is no Republican involvement in the ‘Tea Parties’ whatsoever. We are old, young, male, female, black, white, poor and not so poor and we vote Democrat, Republican, and Libertarian and Independent. Many now know they made a mistake to help install this radical administration. This is what frightens them.]

In NH the Dem’s coffers are in the red, while the Repubs are in the black. The Dems continue to discredit themselves with unfounded stories of bussing and massive funding, while they continue to do these very things of which they accuse others.
