‘Hands off our health care’ says local business owner
PORTSMOUTH — Since Barack Obama was elected president, Jack Kimball has been posting messages on the sign outside his Route 1 Bypass cleaning business in opposition to the president’s policies.
On Tuesday, when the president comes to the city for a health care forum at the high school, it’s possible he will travel past Kimball’s business and actually read one of them.
In a March interview with the Herald, he said, “All my life I was taught that communism and socialism were what we were fighting against. Then, without firing a single shot, that’s what we’re getting. We’ll be passing on all this debt to our children and grandchildren, and maybe beyond.”
