But Don’t Call Them Socialists…

Time and time again we have heard the complaint that this country, this president, and many of the current members of the US House and Senate are ‘socialists’ and/or are bringing us closer to a socialist system in this country.

And time and time again we have been told that this is a “smear”, and that when it is applied to Obama, the word ‘socialism’ is actually a code word for racism.

Bunk.

Leftist propaganda also has itself convinced that FOX runs the tea parties (wrong) the GOP created the movement (wrong again) or that some corporation funds the movement (wrong again). They even have themselves convinced that when FOX reports the stories, the whole story, including both sides, it is propaganda. But the recent ‘Nutroots’ convention at which media and government alike took part is NOT. Or that the smoking gun of the Journolist which revealed reporters conspiring to smear conservatives is not. Leftist propaganda has itself convinced that ACORN tapes are ‘faked’ and Black Panthers calling on their members to kill white babies didn’t happen. Witness the recent myth being promoted that it was FOX who caused Shirely Sherrod’s resignation, when FOX had not yet uttered her name and when Glenn Beck actually sided with her. We can’t imagine how Beck could have sided with someone who had obviously practiced institutional racism and in this day and age, was receiving praise for it from the NAACP!

Back to the issue of socialism and the art of diverting the real issue or assigning meanings to things that make no sense, we are hereby posting the list of bona fide members of the Democratic Socialists of America. You will be stunned to see how many of our elected officials actually subscribe to this group.
