Our friend Katrina Pierson from Dallas passes on this note which has been written up on the Daily Caller.
“A Texas woman was denied the right to vote on Monday because she was wearing a button bearing a Gadsden flag — the rattlesnake under the words “Don’t Tread on Me” that has become the unofficial image of the Tea Party.”
This is the second report of tea partiers being turned away from the polls because they had the Gadsden Flag on their person.
Katrina reminds us that the tea party is “not electioneering, it’s not a candidate, it’s not a party affiliation.”
