2012 REPORT ON GOVERNOR LYNCH’S WATER SUSTAINABILITY COMMISSION
On Earth Day of April 22, 2011, Governor Lynch issued Executive Order #2011-2 which created a New Hampshire Water Sustainability Commission. The complete order can be seen here: http://www.governor.nh.gov/media/news/2011/042211- earth-day.htm
Although the title states simply that the commission is “charged with developing (a) plan to ensure (a) clean, sustainable NH water supply” it is unknown by what mandate the Governor created this order. [We contacted the Governor’s staff who told us they had no idea where he got the idea or the mandate]
A group called NH Listens, the ‘facilitator’ arm of the Carsey Institute, manages public discussions for this and other issues. They train ‘facilitators’ in their Leadership NH program and are also involved in Granite State Future. (Agenda 21)
