Letter: Agenda 21 and HB 144

A reader speaks out on the upcoming talk by Dr. Michael Coffman who will be speaking on Agenda 21 – vital information for making a decision on NH HB144…

Although I have voted for Mayor Gatsas several times in the past, his lack of response to my request to look into the dangers of Agenda 21 which are now being addressed by our State Legislature through the in process bill HB144, leads me to believe that there are moves behind the tax payer’s backs here in Manchester to implement the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI).

I have also received the silent treatment from my Ward 12 Alderman, Patrick Arnold who is now a candidate running against the Mayor. All other Aldermen have followed in the same way which does not bring honor to the office they serve the public from. Alderman Katsiantonis who at least responded to my email indicating he would check on it stands alone with at least an acknowledgment of my letter of invitation which the details are given below. The others still hide in silence: apparently, they don’t appreciate the voters who hire them to rain on their parade, or should I say their support of Agenda 21.

I know all these “public servants” are busy, but it seems like to me, they have forgotten they are to serve the public with truth and open-handed policies. If they are too busy to look into what can easily be proved to be a dangerous threat to “private property”, then they are not worthy of serving the people they represent at City Hall. At the age of 76, still working 30 hours a week and providing lots of help to my wife of 51 years who has many physical limitations: I am also busy. I have been paying taxes now for 60 years. Representative government without feedback betrays our heritage that the founding generation paid a terrible high price to bless us with.

You see, all the times I have voted during my years, as far as I know, I have voted for the next generation. It has been sickening watching the disease of Socialism for the past 100 years become a Cancer at all three levels of government. The popular trend of both parties has advocated in the majority, taking one man’s wealth and giving it to another. So as this politics fueled by greed has been destroying all that is good about our nation, I have been swimming upstream against this process, never voting for “what’s in it for me”, but with posterity in mind.

Now, as I look on our cities website, I see that Manchester has had its hand out for Federal Aid. I want to tell you a little story about Federal Aid. Once upon a time two hunters went deep in the woods in zero weather and got lost and ultimately run out of food. So, starving, they cut off their dogs tails and put them in a pot to boil. After feasting on the dogs tails, they tossed the remainder to the starving dogs. And the dogs licked their master’s hands in gratitude. THAT’S FEDERAL AID!”

This same logic applies to the “trigger word” which is on our cities website under “Sustainability Manchester.” That word smells of Agenda 21 and the United Nations meddling in our cities affairs. I have challenged our Mayor and Aldermen to tell me that I am wrong. This is a question you in the State legislature must answer.

Here below I am sending you an invitation by email which I sent to our city officials several times. I am persistent because I want to make you aware of this program that exposes a threat to private property. I have sent this to every newspaper in the state. However, have as yet no responses. So you know how popular the truth is with the media. I guess this can be expected when the government, so to speak: “owns the truth.” This program I’m sure you’ll find informative and give individuals the knowledge to challenge the tyranny now spreading like Cancer in the “sea of ignorance” that we now see threatening the very survival of our nation.

Please carefully consider attending. Our people are primed to accept such regimentation because we have in the large majority “forgotten God.” It follows as sure as night follows day as William Penn put it: “When men refuse to be ruled by God they will be ruled by men.”

Unfortunately, benevolent dictators have been a rare commodity throughout history. And as, Ben Franklin put it: “The more corrupt the people become the more they have need of masters.”

Christ is the answer for our nation’s survival. Biblical moral law is the solid rock we must return to. Public officials at all levels will not advocate the “less government” needed to solve our “economic cliff”, and Citizens will continue to promote “politicians who give them free hand outs”, if they do not have the morality that attending Christian Churches builds in individuals. This solid rock of morality will not tolerate “silence” from all three levels of government in a moral crisis which we certainly live in today.

“Agenda 21 should have been one of the top campaign issues. But the silence from both parties we have all witnessed in the previous presidential campaign is exactly why our citizens need to take in this program. Otherwise, chances are, slim; truth on Agenda 21 will be without exposure. Voter education is essential if we are to return our nation to the “good government” which our Founders have blessed us with.

The Constitution was created as a blueprint to deter tyranny. But it only works when people do the work to demand the government obey it. The following program is offered to provide vital information about Agenda 21. It is imperative that you become aware of this “political sucker punch” that is being implemented in most cases without the knowledge of tax payers. It targets and has an aim to destroy a major foundation pillar of Western Civilization: “property rights.”

Dr. Michael Coffman is a nationally acclaimed author and speaker, and is President of Environmental Perspectives, INC, and is also Executive Director of Sovereignty international. He will teach about Constitutional principles pertaining to property rights and prosperity, and the Judeo-Christian principles of stewardship as contrasted with the fundamental premises of the adherents of centrally controlled, pantheistic-based environmentalism.

Please plan to attend this program held at the Manchester Public library, at 405 Pine St., Manchester, NH on Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM on January 22nd, 2013. It is free admission. For more information, please call 603-434-9695 or 857-498-1309.
