Tax Day Tea Party Big Success

Gossip

The Tax Day Tea Party Rally was just that despite what you may have read online at WMUR…

We rarely ever check James Pindell’s “Political Scoop” column on WMUR because it’s mostly a hodgepodge of unfounded rumors, specious gossip, and his own personal opinions mixed in with a whole lot of usually erroneous ‘facts’, some of which he claims were ‘leaked’ to him.

For example, he posted an article entitled: “Tea Party folks are sticking with Rand Paul on immigration” from of all places, the left-wing ABC News website.

The article states: “Sal Russo, founder of the Tea Party Express, called Paul a “favorite of the group,” and despite the movement’s focus on the national debt, spending and economic issues he praised Paul’s “willingness to stand up and take a principled stand” on immigration.”

UH, sorry but, NO, we don’t think so.

First off, Sal Russo is NOT a ‘tea partier’ of any sort. He had absolutely NOTHING to do with the formation of the ‘movement’, but he is rather a GOP consultant who in 2009 figured the tea party name (coined in 2007) might be a good thing to use to make money for his GOP PAC. His sole purpose, he’s admitted, is to prop up GOP candidates, and dilute the real movement, which remains an unfunded effort started by many patriots across the country in 2007. The real movement doesn’t carry water for the GOP or any political party — it is 100% non-partisan.

Pindell also asked: “Why are Tea Party types having a third gun rally this Saturday instead of a tax rally for tax day?”

Well maybe James, it’s because those in the ‘know’ knew that this rally WAS our tax day rally for this year. I guess you wouldn’t know it though unless you actually conversed with someone at the NHTPC or got their newsletter. Why it never ceases to amaze me, but NHTPC even has a phone number you could have called!

You know James, if you really want to know what the ‘tea party’ thinks, you might try calling the legitimate group once in a while before posting this nonsense.
