A complaint for breach of oath of office has been filed by some of our tea party members, against House Majority Leader Steve Shurtleff, D-Penacook, and the other 188 House members who, in our opinion, have violated their oaths of office by voting in favor of House Bill 135. This was a blatant breach of the public trust of the people of New Hampshire.

After reading the reaction of the Democrats, we note that they didn’t waste time attempting to remove our right of nullification and many other gains made by the last legislature. Their reaction while not surprising, was rather hypocritical, as they would not hesitate to do the same.

This is not the first time Democrats have voted to violate the Constitution and likely won’t be the last. They should expect to be challenged.

On the official website of the complaint it states:

“House Bill 135, to repeal New Hampshire’s Stand Your Ground law, is a violation of the Our Right to Self Defense . We ask for your help in pursuing two complaints against ALL REPS WHO VOTED FOR IT:

(1) They should be REMOVED FROM OFFICE for breaching their oath of office.

(2) They should be CRIMINALLY PROSECUTED for violating federal law,
“Conspiracy against Rights,” 18 USC 921.”
