Lawsuit Could Stop Plan Bay Area, Other Regional Efforts

Rosa Koire, Director of the Post Sustainability Institute and author of the best selling book “Behind the Green Mask” which exposed the roots of regionalism and the new urbanism movement in America, has a goal. She and others want to mount a lawsuit against something called “Plan Bay Area”, currently underway in California.

This program is exactly the same as many other programs across the nation, including NH’s “Granite State Future”. These programs are using federal monies to push ideas that do not come from the community, are supposedly warranted by “sustainability” crises and inevitably will pose more taxes, fees, and restrictions on individual rights.

If Koire is successful at raising enough money, the lawsuit that would be filed could set a precedent and become a model for what could be used in states across the nation who are also dealing with the regional takeovers of their local governments.
