Jeanne Shaheen Implicated in IRS Scandal

Senator Jeanne Shaheen caught lying again

Senator Jeanne Shaheen is no stranger to scandals and twisting the truth. In keeping with her long-time habit of dodging constituents, she either refuses to answer the question directly, or makes up some story that has no semblance to the truth. Once when approached about Right to Work in NH, she claimed that if RTW legislation were passed, unions would not be allowed to form. That is of course not true, but it’s the impression extreme leftists like Shaheen want people to have so as to allow unions to continue their insane grip on all workers. Passing RTW laws in NH would ONLY have provided that membership in a union would NOT be required as a condition of work.

Then there was the time she had her office put out a totally fabricated press release about our grassroots tea party group. When 80 of us, ALL HER CONSTITUENTS FROM NH showed up at her Hampstead office to call attention to the fact that she refused to hold any public town hall meetings regarding Obamacare, her reaction was to have her office put out a totally bogus account of the event, stating that we were somehow interfering with her office’s ability to assist people who came to get ‘real’ help. We wrote about how she should have been ashamed to sign her name to such a piece of tripe. The only people there who were not with us were three SEIU-paid workers from Massachusetts… You know the ones, they wear purple shirts. They were NOT there to get any sort of help, but to stand outside and shill for Obamacare.

Her press release contained manufactured details about the event, as well as many other fantastic lies; such as the preposterous claim that we were mainly being organized by “Washington insiders, insurance companies, and well-financed special interests.” She even accused us of telling people to show up and disrupt her when we made it clear that she herself would NOT be there. Ironically it was actually Obama’s OFA group that sent out the false information that she would be appearing. But that did not matter to Shaheen.

This writer personally led that action in Hampstead and can attest to the fact that NOT ONE PERSON was there to get ‘help’ from her about anything other than demand she give some answers about the impending threat of Obamacare, to ask her why the insurance companies were involved in writing this horrific piece of legislation, and other questions. 100% of those in attendance were indeed her CONSTITUENTS and NOT paid or part of any “Washington insiders, insurance companies”, or “well-financed special interests”.

Now Shaheen has been implicated in the illegal and unethical attacks on conservative groups by the IRS, apparently having been among those who called on the IRS to engage in that very conduct back in 2010.

According to US News and World Reports, in 2010 “Voters in New Hampshire may be interested to learn that Jeanne Shaheen was among the signatories of that letter urging action by the IRS. From Max Baucus to Chuck Schumer to Jeanne Shaheen, key Senate Democrats publicly pressured the IRS to target groups that held differing political views and who, in their view, had the temerity to engage in the political process. The IRS listened to them and acted.”

Despite her sweet and innocent appearance, Jeanne Shaheen is a far-left snake in the grass, as she has proven over and over again, and as we saw from that press release which blatantly lied about what really happened in Hampstead on that day in 2009. From her lies about RTW, and her constant dodging of constituents as demonstrated by not having ANY town hall meetings over such an important issue as Obamacare, Shaheen has proven to be one of the worst representatives NH has ever sent to DC.

We wonder what excuses the NH Democrats will make for their errant Senator this time. She should first apologize, then step down, immediately.
