Last night a Londonderry resident asked his local school board about the NH BOE’s proposed changes to the Minimum Standards, Ed 306, that would include MANDATORY Comprehensive Psychological Services without parental notification or consent. The resident requested that the local board contact the NH BOE about this glaring problem. Only one board member responded and declined to address the state BOE because “he was not educated on the subject.”
Our local school boards have the responsibility to be aware of the NH BOE’s proposed changes to Ed 306 for it will impact every single district across the Granite State. Hold them accountable — they represent YOU! They need to step up on this issue and bring residents’ concerns to the BOE! And this must happen NOW — the NH BOE will vote on their ED 306 draft on Thursday, November 21.
