We’ll bet that very few tea party animals, constitutionalists, or believers in sovereignty for our nation are for in-state tuition for illegals, or amnesty for illegals.
But, an in-state tuition bill was just passed by the NH House…
“The House voted 188-155 Wednesday to allow students who entered the country illegally to receive in-state tuition at University System of New Hampshire schools.
House Bill 474 would require the students to apply for legal residency or sign an affidavit that they will apply for legal residency as soon as they are eligible to do so. Under a 2012 law, all students seeking in-state tuition must sign an affidavit that they are legal residents of the United States. A copy of the application for legal residency or the affidavit must be filed with the University System of New Hampshire.”
This must be stopped in the Senate. Write to them at that link.
The Koch Bros (who had no role in our formation and from whom we get no funding) and all the groups they do fund, are pushing for general amnesty as well as a Con-Con. We wonder what all the NH conservatives who have donated money to these Koch-funded groups would think if they knew?
We have not heard a word from FreedomWorks about the in-state tuition bill. In case you haven’t heard, they are slated to appear in NH Saturday to help with banishing Obamacare from our state. This is good thing. But aren’t they just soiling their own dens by supporting amnesty? Because with amnesty and open borders, the demand for, and support for programs like Obamacare, will just increase.
And what about all you folks who still have not seen Glenn Beck, a flip-flopping talk show host, promoting FreedomWorks as the ‘tea party connector’? FreedomWorks likes to toss the name ‘tea party’ around, but they are an old group, once called Citizens for a Sound Economy, and have been around long before the tea party was formed in 2007. (A local CSE chapter in NH was thrown under the bus by them in 2004)
I wonder if Alec lobbied our NH House for the in-state tuition bill? Alec is a lobbyist group and another entity funded 98% by the Koch Bros and corporations like Exxon. Koch plays both sides in the Common Core debate, and they along with Exxon are the biggest funders of Common Core. [Video]
Read about the push for amnesty. Perhaps now you know why Koch-funded groups have not said peep about this and the in-state tuition issue. Local AFP is AGAINST Common Core.
