A meeting that will discuss and vote on Granite State Future will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Rochester Community Center, 150 Wakefield St, Rochester, NH.
From a member of this community:
“The Strafford Regional Planning Commission is holding a public meeting to discuss if our officials should sign us onto the Granite State Future plan. This meeting will be open to public discussion and comment (3 minutes) for each citizen that wishes to address the commission. I ask all to come and to be polite and offer up good arguments why they should not sign this contract. This is an important meeting to turn this plan back and help other communities to use us for their example. Rochester has already turned it down.
There will be around 20-25 RPC commissioners in attendance so your views are important to share. Please invite others to speak, you will be required to fill out a card stating your intention to speak.”
