Hearing on:
Stephan E. Forster
Forsters Christmas Tree Farm
sforster@mcttelecom.com
Steve Forster is fighting to preserve his property rights as they are protected under state law. Henniker has cited him for illegal usage of his property — even though they admitted at their last meeting that Steve is practicing agri-tourism, which by state definition is agriculture — which by extension, he is allowed to practice on his farm. They did NOT dispute this.
What they want to do, is impose restrictions on Steve’s property rights before they will rescind their citation against him. This position goes against State Law. Because we are not a home rule state, towns cannot override state law.He is a former Marine, and asks simply for our support in the form of physically showing that there are many others that stand behind him.
Please, if you can, attend the meeting this Thursday, at 7:00 PM at the Henniker Community center, downtown Henniker. The address is 57 Main Street, Henniker, NH.
We believe that his fight is our fight as well, because this is what is coming to every town in NH when the Granite State Future plan is implemented and then imposed upon all of us. When our property rights are no longer sacred, we all will have lost our liberty and freedom.
