Perhaps you’ve noticed that they are asking if you own firearms when you fill out your initial application at your doctor’s office?
Perhaps you’ve also had the question asked, “have you been feeling sad or depressed lately”?
If it were not bad enough the government is encroaching more and more upon our lives in this way (for example the imposition of Obamacare mandates of which the IRS would be the overseers) a federal bill has been filed to put the IRS in charge of taking back your guns.
That’s right folks, this sounds like something out of the Bonnie and Clyde era, but it’s true.
Read the bill here at GovTrack.us It was introduced on January 14, 2013 (113th Congress, 2013–2015) by sponsor Rep. Rosa DeLauro [D-CT3] and then referred to committee.
The bill will amend the 1986 IRS code and allow a credit if taxpayers “surrender” their guns to the government. The bill contains an exhaustive list of so-called “assault weapons” that will garner a $2,000 tax credit, including the much demonized Bushmaster AR-15 allegedly used in the Newtown Sandy Hook massacre.
