Pumping up the “war on terror”
Editor’s Note: The Constitutional views of the tea party movement would naturally indicate it favors a foreign policy of non-intervention. As Thomas Jefferson once said, “Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations — entangling alliances with none.” Once one discovers the truth about what the US is actually doing in the middle east, one can only conclude that Jefferson’s wise words have gone unheeded…
Where the Constitution and conservatism is concerned, our NH Senator Kelly Ayotte, seems to have “gone off the reservation”.
In a shocking revelation from the Union Leader – “Ayotte visits Afghanistan, Middle East, says arm Syrian rebels”, we learn that NH Senator Kelly Ayotte is advocating for arming the Syrian rebels. But just who are these Syrian rebels?
Our sources in Syria make a clear case for who these rebels are and who has been funding them. Syrian reporter and activist MiMi El Laham describes herself among other things, as “a Syrian patriot, anti-imperialist, anti-NWO.” Like many of us in the US, she holds no illusions about any government, but believes that any positive change should come “through a sovereign Syria, rather than the destruction of Syria… by the dogs of war”. She is clear on the fact that the majority of the Syrian people would like the US to stop interfering in their business, just as we in the US might do if another country dared interfere in our own internal affairs. She claims that a legitimate, secular government is being disfavored over a socialist “democracy”, and if the current government is taken down, the resulting government would quite possibly be dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood, as is now the case in Egypt. Does Ayotte know that this is what our soldiers might be dying for?
According to El Laham, western forces who wish to impose their will upon Syria dislike Syria because the country is not part of a central bank, holds NO IMF debt, does not allow genetically modified food, and is rich in oil and pipelines. They are a secular government strong on nationalism. MiMi herself is a Muslim who is quite western in her lifestyle and appearance and not of the stereotype we usually see. She asserts that in Syria’s secular society, as in America, the government is not religion-based. She once said that in Syria it is considered impolite to ask what anyone’s religion is, and that it is a society of ethnic and religious diversity.
As to the groups who make up the “Free Syrian Army” — the very rebels that Ayotte wants to arm and fund — El Laham says they are nothing more than CIA forces who are manipulating ‘Al Qaeda’ to create instability in order to overthrow the Assad government in favor of a “democracy”. (This is just as some suspect the CIA was doing in the US with the importation of the Serbian-based OWS terrorists who stirred up violent unrest, ravaging businesses and committing crimes in major American cities…)
In this video, “Your Tax Dollars Fueling ‘Al Qaeda’ Syrian Rebels”, according to El Laham, it is the Syrian troops who are fighting Al Qaeda, while the US is not fighting them, but funding them, and in effect, creating the “war on terror”. She refers to American “freedom fighter” Matthew Van Dyke who joined the CIA and is currently fighting alongside the rebels. El Laham believes that she has proof that “the US’s best ‘enemies’ and puppet of the CIA organisation” is Al Qaeda, and “has been let loose in Syria to ferment a civil war and destabilize the country.” To the Syrian people, the rebels are “foreign, NWO terrorists”. She complains that “western” media continually falsely reports that killings are attributed to the regime when those attacked say it was actually rebels armed with American guns who committed the slaughter. See CNN video.
So the question remains. Why is Ayotte supporting the Syrian rebels? Even low-information partisan republicans should be questioning her on the basis that she would be supporting what are basically Obama’s policies, even if they are oblivious that this is a continuation from the previous administration. Perhaps all involved are just taking orders from some other “authority”.
As one young liberty activist recently observed, “It doesn’t matter who is in office, what color his skin is or what political party he identifies with. He doesn’t make the decisions, he’s just following orders. He’s owned by the big banksters & the globalists. They (the parties) might seem like they disagree on issues but in actuality they’re just taking a different approach to achieve the same goals & the same agenda.”
We suspect the inexperienced Ayotte is merely an unwitting dupe of Senator John McCain and his neoconservative policies. The support of the general public for these policies depends on the fact that most get their information from limited and controlled news sources. Some have come around, but only due to their partisanship which we referred to previously.
Excerpts:
“Syrian rebels have been responsible for a plethora of atrocities, from terrorist attacks and massacres, to forcing people to become suicide bombers, to attacks on Christian churches and making children carry out grisly beheadings of unarmed prisoners.
Somewhat ludicrously, the US State Department today blamed the Assad regime itself, which has been fighting against the Al-Qaeda linked group, for allowing the Nusra Front to gain a foothold in the country.”
The article also states that these policies are what “led to the attack on the Benghazi consulate and the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens.”
Britain’s involvement with NATO: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/dec/11/british-forces-support-syria-rebels
Excerpt:
“Britain’s military chiefs have drawn up contingency plans to provide Syrian rebels with maritime, and possibly air, power in response to a request from David Cameron, senior defence sources said on Monday night.
However, they said the UK would act only if the US did so and made it clear that British chiefs of staffs are seriously worried about the consequences of intervening in the Syrian crisis.”
Indeed.. and so are we. Let’s hope for peace. The American people are not at war with anyone.
