Republican leaders and the news media are watching carefully to see if you react today.
They have indicated they will interpret anything less than a firestorm of protests against last week’s stories about a Republican amnesty plan as a green light for Speaker John Boehner to move forward with his behind-the-scenes efforts to line up support for his amnesty.
The Open Borders Billionaires Club — led by Mark Zuckerberg and Michael Bloomberg — seems to have persuaded House Republican leaders that citizens like you are unlikely to mount protests as you did in the past. Their reasoning is that after 14 years of fighting constant amnesty battles (and winning), you are just too tired to mount a level of opposition to scare Republicans from going through with it this time.
THEIR LOCAL DISTRICT OFFICES NEED TO BE FLOODED WITH PROTEST CALLS TODAY.
Every office counts the pros and cons as constituents make contact. Be sure that the tally sheet is overwhelmingly opposed to giving work permits to millions of illegal aliens and to greatly expanding the government’s program of adding legal immigrant workers.
It is extremely important that your Republican U.S. Representative be able to report to Boehner that your District’s voters are passionately hostile to giving out large numbers of work permits to illegal aliens during a time of high unemployment for American workers.
