It’s that time again. Fake tea party groups are speculating upon whether they should interfere in our NH primary races by endorsing someone in our name. They have in the past completely ignored the wishes of the real tea party.
Washington Times has the story…
We would like to emphasize…
– The TPE, TPN, and TPE and others calling themselves “national” tea parties are not legitimate tea parties. There IS no “national” tea party! There is no funding for candidates! There are NO endorsements! We are an educational movement only.
– While the legitimate tea party movement does NOT get involved in campaigns, candidates might be discussed regarding their issues and records, but no endorsements are made.
– We all remember what happened last time when a so-called tea party from out of state interfered in our elections. Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Express claimed the “tea party” endorsed Senator Ayotte when WE DID NOTHING OF THE KIND.
– Send email to GOP consultant and fundraiser Sal Russo and tell him that when it comes to thinking of endorsing Scott Brown, he should be up front with people and admit that his group, The Tea Party Express, is an ESTABLISHMENT GOP PAC working for ESTABLISHMENT GOP CANDIDATES. Tell him he should not be misleading people into thinking he represents our legitimate movement which was started by young libertarians in 2007 and with which he has NO association WHATSOEVER. In fact, from what we are seeing, the grassroots here in NH are actively working to DEFEAT Scott Brown.
Contact Tea Party Express, and Sal Russo in particular, and tell them to keep their establishment GOP group and bus OUT OF NH and to mind their own damned business.
What is it going to take to keep these impostors out of NH’s elections, a lawsuit?
