Candidates 2016

The NHTPC as a group does not officially endorse candidates in any race. However we thought it would be helpful to your research to list them here and note by which groups they are being vetted.

Below are candidates who have filed for office in NH and will be on the ballot in our 2016 primaries to be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.

The primary winners will then be on the general election ballot on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

Please refer to the Secretary of State’s official lists of filers (below) for NH House of Representatives, NH Senate, and County Offices as there would be too many to list here.

You will be voting to nominate candidates for Governor, US Congressional Candidates (in either district) as well as one US Senator, one State Senator from your district, multiple State Representatives from your district, and a County Sheriff as well as other County officials in the primary in September. Some seats go uncontested.

State Candidates – Republicans
State Candidates – Democrats
State Candidates – Independents

Our two US Senate seats are ‘at large’, meaning both Senators serve all of NH. Only Senator Kelly Ayotte is up for re-election in 2016.
