Antidote to Freedom Rally a Bust, Messy

So far the “Antidote to Freedom” hate-fest rally held on 10/2/2010 in DC by various progressive groups including the Communist Party USA, seems to be a bust.

I happened to catch it when Ed Shultz, premier hate-monger, was railing against corporations. Is he so ignorant that he doesn’t know big corporations are the ones manipulating the UN to bring about the one nation, one world government? Nuts.

Just looking at live shots from the news, it appears there are only a few hundred people in attendance in an around the reflecting pool and on the steps of the Memorial, in fact most people left before it was over. CSPAN was caught using a photo from the 8/28 rally which clearly showed it was Beck’s gig, because no one had signs!

Most people are carrying pre-printed signs and shirts from the groups who paid them to be there.

Isn’t it comforting to know there are people who feel the need to have an ‘antidote’ to freedom, low taxes, and less government control over our lives?

This would be a great time to round them all up and arrest them — oh wait — we’d have to include the ones INSIDE the buildings too…

Update: Here are two aerial photos — courtesy of The Blaze — one of the One Nation Rally and one of the Beck 8/28 Rally. One Nation was definitely a bust considering unions paid workers to attend and were calling them on the phone all day urging them to attend.

Also, remembering that the 9/12 and 8/28 folks left the grounds spotless, here is a series of photos that show what a mess the mall was left once again courtesy of Director Blue’s Blog

And some comparison videos of the Beck vs Barack crowd:
