Tell the Councilors No Obamacare Money!

According to the Concord Monitor…

By a 3-2 margin, the Executive Council voted to accept federal money to see how New Hampshire would establish an Obama health care government agency. This, after a clear voter mandate- especially here in New Hampshire. Ironically, every member of the Council is a republican!

Instead of rejecting this money, 3 of the Councilors seemingly agreed with the premise that the government can mandate health care for every American. Instead of standing up for our states rights and the good people of New Hampshire, they caved in to the ever increasing, centralized authority of the Obama administration.

I’m sure that they think that, because they are republicans, they might get away with this. We need to disabuse them of this notion.

Voting for the people were Councilors Sununu and Wheeler. Voting against the people were Councilors Burton, St. Hilaire and Wieczorek. Councilor Wieczorek, normally a prudent conservative, voted against his own convictions. He even said in the article, that he did not support the health care law. Is that a proverbial flip-flop?

Let Councilors Sununu and Wheeler know that you appreciate their stand for us. Let the other Councilors, especially Councilor Wieczorek, know that you are disappointed with their vote.

Tell the Councilors, at their next meeting on April 13th, DON’T SPEND THE MONEY- SEND IT BACK!
