People have the right to assemble peacefully, as the tea party did many times since 2007, including when two million of us congregated in DC. Not one arrest, not one piece of trash left behind, anywhere.
Do people also have the right to drive into a workplace without having their cars attacked and damaged?
Also, it is amazing that city officials in Oakland have passed a resolution to support the movement despite its communistic/anarchistic violent nature. The city’s mayor “…called it a “good day” for the demonstrators and the 99 percent movement.”
They kept emphasizing that it was peaceful, with law breaking rare. (Compare this to the tea party, who yelled at a few town halls, and was called violent)
“No injuries, no property damage, and no major security problems.” WHAT THE HELLO? Joseph Goebbels would be proud!
