How Planners Hope to Dupe Tea Party

The American Planning Association realizes that people are onto the fact that the ICLEI is in place in many towns for the purpose of implementing the UN’s Agenda 21.

They are now coming to the realization that calling people ‘conspiracy theorists’ isn’t working because there is just too much information out there. The UN is very proud of the plans it has for you and every aspect of your life, and brags about it whenever it can.

From the website, for “Smart Growth For Conservatives”:

“Whittemore suggests that the mere denial of a conspiracy, as he contends the APA has advised, is counter-productive, and suggests ideas for engaging Agenda 21 in a more productive dialogue.”

And, “In January, the Republican National Committee passed a resolution proclaiming that, “The United Nations Agenda 21 plan of radical so-called ‘sustainable development’ views the American way of life of private property ownership, single family homes, private car ownership and individual travel choices, and privately owned farms; all as destructive to the environment.”

“‘It sounds a little on the weird side, but we’ve found we ignore it at our own peril,’ said George Homewood, a vice president of the American Planning Association’s chapter in Virginia.”

They even offer Advice on Responding To Tea Party Members Critical of Smart Growth… “Step One: Stop Belittling Objectors. Step Two: Listen. Step Three: Identify. Step Four: Engage.”
